Marketing Strategies for Today’s Seller

We here at Krantz & Associates are proud of the fact that we strive daily to stay on the cutting edge of what is needed in today’s market to help sell your home. When I say daily, that is not stretching the truth. In years past it was not too difficult to put a sign in the front yard, throw the listing into our Multi List Service and expect results. Not today by any stretch of the imagination, the competition is keener and working harder than ever. I wouldn’t say that we eat, drink and sleep real estate, but pretty close. We are constantly throwing ideas at each other here in our office on how to achieve more sales and you know what, it has been paying off.

One of the more successful approaches we have implemented is the use of video. I’m not speaking of the virtual tour that we have accompanying all of our listings. While that has been and continues to be a very appealing aspect of every listing, this is something more. A total walkthrough with commentary for example. Imagine the possibilities at this point! The video can be downloaded to YouTube, which is owned by one of the world’s largest search engines, Google. The video can be attached to my website to showcase a particular listing that I have. It can remain on our company website, blog,  and we can email it to prospective clients. I think that is pretty cool.

We don’t just do houses! Let’s say that you have had your home on the market and it didn’t sell. You are thinking of hiring another company to get the job done for you. How would you like to meet me before you ever talk to me in person, let me explain. Part of the introductory package that I send to expired listings (you are an expired listing if your home went off the market without selling) is a DVD about five minutes long introducing myself and two other very important people that work in our office. Nothing too fancy, but I’ll bet that you won’t get a letter from another agent doing the same thing.

We also do monthly and quarterly updates giving showings  and sales activity, and other current market information.  If you haven’t seen one of our video’s, check out our monthly LHC video on our website. We are not complacent, things change daily and I would like to think that we do too!
